God & I

Christianity is not about you. It is even not about me (wow!). It is about having a faith in Jesus Christ who came down to the earth and died for you and me. Why? Because we all have sinned. Whether you believe it or not. Jesus came and endured the punishment for us.

People sometimes think that Christians are perfect. In fact we do the same blunders as everybody. The difference is that we are receiving God's mercy if we ask for it and if we confess our sins and forsake them.

God is not a cane. If you choose life with God you choose life in struggle. But there stands a victory at the end of it. Life with God is not life without troubles, nor is it an easier one. Sometimes it's even harder. God didn't promise us easy life, He promised us eternal life.

The Bible says: "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13-14) I have chosen the small one with the narrow way that leads to it and sometimes it crinkles and sometimes it even gets lost in the grass... and I never want to come along another one. Which one will you choose?
